Murcas Rashford is attracting interest from Arsenal despite the poor season
The England star has been touted with a shock switch to Gunners as speculation continues over how much longer he’s going to stay at OLD TRAFORD .Marcus Rashford told he’s “no ready” for Arsenal role amid transfer interest .According to ex-Premier League goal getter Tony Cascarino (the former Chelsea forward), the Red Devils star isn’t still dependable and don’t seems to have what it takes within his armory to spearhead the Gunners front- line.
The 24 - year-old was forced to miss the opening exchange of the Premier league campaign after undergoing a shoulder surgery that was originally delayed so that he could play for the Three Lions Euro 2020. Re –introduced into the thick of things with his club in October .United number 10 has just mustered five goals across all competitions this term, while his general play has left plenty to be desired. Despite this, Arsenal under their manager Mikel Arteta, are rumored to believe that they can get the best out of Rashford and will look to do so with a summer transfer.
Cascarino feels that a club like Arsenal would not see the benefit of signing Rashford due to his shortcoming in front of goal. The ex-Chelsea striker told talkSPORT:”You have to punish because, if you are going to a team like Arsenal, they are looking to progress and be a Champion League team, so you have to be clinical in the front”.
It remains unclear whether United would even sell to Arsenal given the teams are fierce long-time rivals ,but Rashford’s future at Old Trafford is far from certain with the new manager. And amid his recent struggles, a fresh start in North London could well appeal.
