Rained rejects Saudi madia group's bid over chelsea



 unfortunate moments knocked the doors of Saudi Media Group after being informed by US merchant Bank Raine, of their offer being unsuccessful.
This has left many wondering, as Saudi offer was believed by many to be one of the biggest, Raine is looking at alot of essential factors apart from just the value of the bid. 

It's coming out clearly that one of the factors thought to have worked against Saudi bid was the potential difficulty in passing the fit and proper persons test - with Saudi's public investment Fund taking a year to secure approval to buy Newcastle United.
 CHELSEA need a quick sale to ensure they can continue to operate, something that couldn't be achieved by Saudi Media Group. One of the forefront personnel involved  in the Saudi take over bid, AL khudari- also a chelsea fan confirmed this through a tweet :'we did our best. Disappointed, but we'll continue to bleed blue. '


Al Khudari also confirmed that the group is  open and wishing to give financial backing to another successful consortium as long as it 'respects the fans and elevates the legacy of the club.

Nottingham Forest have been promoted to the English Premier League (EPL) for the first time in 23 years.  Manchester United have made an offer for former Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen, this is after them getting information of the former Tottenham star being liable for a free transfer, if recent reports are to be believed. Eriksen made a heroic return to the Premier League in January, less than seven months after suffering a cardiac arrest while playing for Denmark during last summer's European Championships.
