Lukaku's Journey to inter underway

This season has been the toughest  for  former intermilan striker, at Stamford Bridge. The world class player has displayed dismal performance in the EPL and seems unfit for these league.

Lukaku, 28, has failed to find top form since re-joining Chelsea for €115 million in the summer, scoring just five goals in 19 Premier League appearances.

And while Inter aren't sure whether they could afford the transfer fee required to take the Belgium international back on a permanent basis, Calciomercato suggests that they are now looking at a potential loan deal in the summer.

Lukaku is reportedly unhappy at Stamford Bridge and he would be open to a return to Inter, having expressed his desire to rejoin the club in an explosive interview in December. He was a standout player for the Nerazzurri last season, scoring 24 goals in 36 league appearances, as they won the Scudetto.Having signed him just last summer, the Blues would be wise to either give him more time or get compensated in a way that doesn’t make last summers  deal one we live to regret from a financial standpoint.

Last year, the current chelsea strike held some interview where he disclosed the following ;"Now it's the right time to share my feelings. I have always said that I have Inter in my heart: I know I will return to Inter, I really hope so. I am in love with Italy, this is the right moment to talk and to let people know what really happened."

"I really hope from the bottom of my heart to return to Inter not at the end of my career, but when I am still at the top level to win more together. I want apologise to the Inter fans, the timing of my words was wrong: what you did for me will remain forever."
